Had a great day exploring downtown Bellevue. Met Stephen our Main Street Flats Apartments leasing agent who showed me through the apartment (HG chose well when he was here in February and signed up for the apartment), opened a bank account at Chase Bank – AMAZING service, sooooooooo polite and friendly, walked through our local park, and had a stroll down to the water front – only 10 minutes from our new abode! Oh………… and mustn’t forget, walked through a fraction of Bellevue Collection shopping center. Huge? No, – it was MASSIVE!! Shoe shops like you’ve only dreamt about Elizabeth B. I wonder if there is such a career as “professional shopper”?
Downtown Park – just a few blocks from our apartment
Yum! This is one of 3 or 4 chocolate shops

While spending 6 months in Seattle in 2016 I started this blog to keep my boys and other family and friends back home in New Zealand up to date with our adventures. Now back home and living in a beautiful North Canterbury Village I photograph and write mostly about everyday life - our travels and anything else that makes me smile. I write with love, humour, and the greatest pride that ever was in my boys and their girls, ..... and in, not least, my Hunter Gatherer - my best friend.

Certainly does look a lovely area of Seattle, and the Park will be great to relax in – that’s if you can resist the aptly named Chocolate shop !! xx

OMG there were so many shoes……I had never seen so many in one place. I got shy with the camera and there were so many people there too so rather difficult to get the shoes in the photo!! I will go back when it’s a bit quieter – promise! xx
